Three great reasons to visit Nusa Penida:
1. World-class diving
Nusa Penida attracts visitors from around the world thanks to its world-class dive sites. As well as stunning corals and crystal clear waters, the island is best known for year-round sightings of majestic manta rays and the elusive Mola-Mola (Ocean Sunfish) which are present from July to November. For experienced divers and novice snorkelers alike, the waters of Nusa Penida have something to offer!

2. Gorgeous scenery (and beaches all to yourself!)
Nusa Penida is home to countless beautiful spots, from the sandy beaches of Crystal Bay, to the natural pools of Angel’s Billabong. This picture shows one of Nusa Penida’s hidden treasures, KelingKing Secret Point, which lies around 30 minutes from the harbour.

3. Rare wildlife
As well as jaw-dropping scenery, Nusa Penida is a bird-watchers paradise. The beautiful Bali Starling, a critically endangered bird which is considered virtually extinct in the wild, can still be spotted here thanks to conservation efforts which have seen populations increasing. Go for a walk at dawn or dusk and see what other exotic creatures you can spot.
